Our environmental commitment
Beyond all the actions carried out around our know-how and our product, we are aware of our impact on the planet and we are simultaneously carrying out various improvement actions within our organization.
Energy Sobriety
Our big project is to find sustainable solutions to reduce our energy consumption. In order to accompany us in our choices we have called upon professionals who have brought us all their knowledge in the realization of an energy audit which will help us to find ways of improving our performance.
See you in 2022 for the results... In the meantime, we are not standing still:
>A LED relamping of our premises is underway (they consume 3 times less energy than low-energy bulbs and 9 times less than an incandescent bulb) and presence sensors have been installed in the common areas to avoid unnecessary lighting of unused parts of the buildings.
> A charter of good computer practices is being prepared: turn off your PC at night, avoid unnecessary emails....

Zero paper and digitalization objective
Thanks to our MOREL PLAY, a digital tool developed in-house 10 years ago, our sales representatives work exclusively on tablets and phones.
Since then, we have continued to work on reducing our paper consumption:
> Elimination of our physical catalogs
> Elimination of our printed newsletters (34,000 per year)
> Dematerialization of our invoices (75% of our customers)
> Dematerialization of our pay slips
> Dematerialization of our sales representatives' expense reports
> A virtual showroom was developed during the Covid pandemic. It allows us to stay in touch with our most distant customers. Its success leads us to believe that we will use it more systematically now...

Our approach to better management of waste
As an industrial company, we are involved on a daily basis to implement a virtuous and as often as possible local approach to the management of our waste.
Our cardboard and paper are entrusted to the ALCG association, whose objective is to encourage the return to employment of people in professional reintegration.
We are a partner of the TEHP association, which collects masks on our site to prevent them from spilling into the environment.
Our metal waste is entrusted to Jura Recycling, a company specialized in recycling and the circular economy.

Our printer cartridges are recycled via our service providers.
The pallets are collected by RECUPAL, a partner located in the Jura, which gives them a second life by repairing them and putting them back into the circuit.
The thinners used for our pad printing workshop and the waste water from the washing of our ultra saon tank are stored and then entrusted to the DECHAMBOUX Company.
Our often renewed computer park generates a great number of obsolete material which is now entrusted to ZACK, a solidarity association militating for a circular economy which will be in charge of putting it back in the circuit for a second life.

MOREL and biodiversity
Located in the middle of nature, our headquarters offers a privileged location to encourage biodiversity. Thanks to a collaboration with a local beekeeper, 12 hives have been installed. The honey is harvested and bottled on site and offered to our clients and partners.
For 2022, we are preparing new actions:
> Implementation of a DIFFERENTIAL MANAGEMENT of our green spaces, more respectful and close to nature.
> Installation of birdhouses and insect hotels.
