Morel wins an award for its partnership with Nathalie Blanc
Every year, a jury of 6 members of the optical professions awards prizes for the best eye-wear designs. The participants are divided into 3 categories:
– Optical frame
– Sunglass frame
– Technological Frame
This prize, which was awarded during the HKOF Show in Hong Kong, is awarded to opticians from all over the world. A worldwide competition, which makes the prize a mark of international fame!
Morel shone in the optical frame category with a frame born out of its exclusive collaboration with Nathalie Blanc, winning the V AWARD.
The prizewinning frame:
A frame with pure lines, adorned with a translucid acetate brow-bar. The cats-eye shape, a nod to vintage feminine styles, is beautifully highlighted through the “de-structured” effect around the outside of the eye.
Morel by Nathalie Blanc:
Two worlds, but the same passion
On paper, the Morel-Nathalie Blanc combination might surprise, because the two brands seem worlds apart.
Firstly, Morel, an independent family firm with a powerful heritage – the brand will soon celebrate its 140 years of existence – recognized the world over for its know-how. Then, Nathalie Blanc, the young, fashionable brand that challenges set ideas through its trendy collections.
But in spite of all this, real chemistry has been born between the two brands. What do they have in common? The love of beautifully designed eye-wear, recognized by the award of the renowned design prize, the V AWARD.
